Landing Page Navigation

Find your way around the public A²D site at a2d-ai.com. The landing page has a sticky top navigation bar with a mega-menu, and its calls-to-action adapt to whether you are signed in.

The top navigation bar

The bar stays pinned to the top of the page as you scroll. From left to right it holds:

  • Brand mark — the A²D logo and wordmark, linking back to the landing page.
  • Mega-menu — four sections (Explore, Design, Community, Resources) that open a panel of links on hover or focus. Hidden on narrow screens, where it collapses into a drawer.
  • Theme toggle — switch between light and dark mode.
  • Account controls — sign-in / get-started actions, or a shortcut to your dashboard once you are signed in (see Signed-in vs. guest behavior).

On screens narrower than 950px the mega-menu is replaced by a hamburger button. It opens a full-screen drawer that drills down one section at a time; press Escape to step back a level, then again to close.

Mega-menu sections

Each section groups related destinations. The exact links evolve with the product, but the sections are stable:

  • Explore — jump to the highlights of the landing page itself: the design-first approach, features, the AI-native workflow, platform statistics, and the FAQ. These are in-page anchors that scroll you down the page.
  • Design — entry points into the core design surfaces: MCP Servers, Agent Cards, REST APIs, the Test Lab, and mocking & security.
  • Community — the Agentic Asset Library (A²L) and other shared, community-facing destinations.
  • Resources — documentation and other external references. These open in a new tab and are marked with an external-link icon.

Links that leave the site (for example, the docs or the standalone playground) open in a new tab; in-app and in-page links navigate in place.

Signed-in vs. guest behavior

The landing page detects your session in the browser and adjusts both the header account controls and the hero buttons so you never see actions that do not apply to you.

While the page is checking your session, a small placeholder is shown in place of the account controls to avoid a flash of the wrong buttons.

When you are a guest (not signed in):

  • The header shows Sign in (to /login) and Get started (to /signup).
  • The hero shows Get Started and Sign In, alongside Explore Community Assets and the Standalone A²D Playground Client.

When you are signed in:

  • The header replaces the sign-in actions with a dashboard shortcut.
  • The hero shows Go to Dashboard instead of Get Started / Sign In. The Explore Community Assets and Playground actions remain for everyone.

Sign-in state is shared across *.a2d-ai.com subdomains, so signing in on the main site keeps you signed in on the library and playground too.
