Organization & Members

A²D supports multiple organizations per user. You can be an owner of one or more organizations and a member of others. This page explains how to join an organization via invitation, what owners can do in Settings, and how to switch organizations.

Joining an organization

If someone sends you an invitation link to their organization:

  1. Open the link — It will look like: https://your-app/accept-invite?token=...
  2. Sign up or log in — If you don’t have an A²D account, create one; otherwise log in.
  3. Accept the invite — On the accept-invite page you’ll see the organization name and your role (owner or member). Click Accept to join.
  4. You’re now a member of that organization. The app will switch to that org (or you can switch to it later from the sidebar).

Invitations expire after a set period (e.g. 7 days). If the link no longer works, ask the organization owner to send a new invite.

Managing your organization (owners only)

If you are an owner of an organization, you can manage invitations and members from Settings → Organization.

Invite to organization

  1. Go to Settings in the sidebar, then open the Organization tab.
  2. In the Invite to organization card, enter the invitee’s email and choose their role (Member or Owner).
  3. Click Send invite. An invite link is generated and copied to your clipboard. Send this link to the invitee (e.g. by email or chat).

Pending invites

  • In the Pending invites section you’ll see all invites that haven’t been accepted yet.
  • You can copy the invite link again for any pending invite, or revoke it so the link stops working.

Members

  • The Members section lists everyone in the organization (email, role).
  • For each member (except yourself) you can:
    • Change role — Switch between Member and Owner (e.g. promote a member to owner).
    • Toggle AI access — Enable or disable AI-assisted features for that person in this org.
    • Reset password — Generate a password-reset link and copy it to the clipboard so you can send it to the member (e.g. if they’re locked out).
    • Remove — Remove the member from the organization. Their assets in this org are transferred to the org owner. Confirm when prompted.

You cannot remove yourself or demote the last owner.

Switching organizations

If you belong to more than one organization, the sidebar shows your current organization name with a dropdown (chevron). Click it to see the list of organizations you’re a member of and your role in each. Select another organization to switch context; the page refreshes and you’ll see that organization’s data (servers, agent cards, settings, etc.).

The app remembers your current organization in a cookie so that the next time you open A²D you’re still in the same org.

Visibility and editing within an organization

All members of an organization see and can edit all assets (MCP servers and Agent Cards) in that organization. There is no per-asset sharing: access is determined only by organization membership. The UI shows who created each asset (“Created by” on list cards and optionally on detail pages). To see another organization’s assets, switch to that organization using the sidebar switcher.

Platform admins

Platform administrators (configured via environment) have access to Admin → Organizations and Admin → Users. There they can list all organizations and users, view members per org, reset user passwords, and delete users. This is separate from organization-level owner actions and applies across the whole platform.

  • MCP Servers — Create and manage assets within your organization.
